Abseiling as a team building activity for corporate groups is ideal to
Develop and encourage trust amongst team members - creating reliance and inter-dependence.

Implementation of Risk Management Systems (RMS).
Create Scenarios, including.
a/ Member of team has fallen over the cliff, team must rescue fallen member, includes basic first aid training.
b/ Imminent collapse of building from which all the team must escape.

Abseil Team Building Blue Mountains Abseiling is straight-backward, as well as an excellent motivator/team building activity. We ensure a great fun day out, where no previous experience is necessary. Your team is instructed in all the techniques of abseiling that you will require, in order to make the day exciting, fun and safe! Cliff safety, harnessing, communication, equipment use and abseil techniques are taught.
After the initial briefing and practice abseils the team is allocated management positions and responsibilities. Each member of the team must integrate their knowledge, common sense and risk management principles (taught on the day) in order to have the team descend safely over the final 24 story abseil!
Once you have competently mastered the skills of abseiling and tasted the adrenalin of small 2-10m cliffs we will venture over 15-50m cliffs. We assess your ability and take the abseils step by step at the teams pace.
There is plenty of opportunity for all levels of abseiling ability, from complete beginners - advanced. The highlight of the day is a 60m abseil with 35m off the wall free descent! Finally the team coordinates an abseil set up, anchoring ropes, effecting safety systems and quality assurance checks (under a lead abseiling instructors supervision).
Once the abseil is set-up and checked each team member descends the final pitch!
The Hunter Valley and its unique wineries is the place to experience the thrill of abseiling along the magnificent Broken Back Range. Taste the adrenaline before any wine is devoured on superb descents and heart stopping abseils into the Hunter Valley below.
