Furniture for Families is a corporate socially responsible Team Building exercise that is intelligent & rewarding.

Groups are divided into teams to solve specific Team Building Activities can be facilitated indoors or outdoors. Collecting essential parts or tools along the journey to accomplish the ultimate goal of a terrific & well built piece of Furniture - Resulting in a special gift to a deserving family.

The underlying foundation is each component of a team and company is interdependent as is an article of furniture. Together we achieve results by working collaboratively rather than siloed mind sets.

Bushsports Build Furniture for Families Team Building program is a great corporate social responsibility (CSR) event for organisations that would like to give something back and support local communities in need. Hosted by our professional Community Facilitator and support Team for Building Furniture!

Team Building Icebreakers: Teams will learn about themselves as well as each other in fantastic fun games designed to get your team into Furniture Building Groups.
Team Building Challenges: Challenges are presented for teams to overcome and collect Furniture for Families tools or equipment. Activities can lead teams outdoors, or complete the Furniture for Families charity Team Building Event indoors.
Furniture Parts: As teams solve clues or complete activities, they acquire necessary materials and tools to build their furniture pieces.
Teams Build Furniture : Groups soon discover that in order to succeed, they are not competing with each other, but with limited resources together to achieve the ultimate goal!
Negotiating to acquire the correct parts can be incorporated in the team building design.
Furniture Built: At the conclusion of the Furniture for Families team building event Bushsports team safety controllers inspect and assist in adjusting the furniture ready to donate.
Teams present their quality controlled inspected furniture to their selected charity. E.g. Unicef, Make a Wish, Red Kite, Smith Family, Barnardos, Salvation Army, Camp Quality, Mission Australia or Red Cross.

THRILL Team Building organised a Team Building Day for the Johnson & Johnson Medical Team to build Furniture for the Mission Australia Crisis Centre House in Sydney.

The Furniture was delivered to the hotel where Johnson & Johnson Medical Teams set about building a range of different pieces of Furniture. From extendable tables, stylish chairs, bookcases, tv units and cabinets as well as diverse shapes and sizes of coffee & end tables.

Once all the furniture was put together and quality controlled by BUSHSPORTS staff, Johnson & Johnson then donated the beautifully built furniture to Mission Australia to be utilised by the residents in the Crisis Centre.
