Team managers Reviews & Team Testimonials
|
2007 was an incredible year for Bushsports - where we learnt the value of being approachable by all corporations and their managment teams. This resulted in a win-win for our team and yours in 2008 with exceptional attention to detail.
Evaluation by Greg Thompson Manager, Biotronik Sales & Marketing
Why did you choose to participate the Biotronik's Sales & Marketing team in a Bushsports Survivor team building program? "We needed to bring the team together following changes during 2006. I recognised that the only way we could succeed in 2007 and beyond was to create a team. Bushsports have enabled us to take that first giant step toward a solid team formation".
Level of satisfaction: 100% "Absolutely amazing is all I can say. The best teamwork development day I have ever experienced. The facilitation was excellent and the execution of the highest professional standard. I believe this will mark the future success of Biotronik Australia".
Did the program meet the Biotronik's team requirements?
ie build morale, provide social interaction, develop trust, increase communication, enjoyment, was it fun? In every way perceivable.
Favourite Survivor Challenge? Spiderweb initiative, All the teams were working as one team so they interacted with almost everyone.
Overview: Honestly it was the most professionally run program I have ever participated in. The facilitator, Konrad Lippmann was very attuned to the group and paced it brilliantly to them.

Review by Nestle -Purina, Survivor - Lane Cove, Sydney.
"The raft building and the blindfolding activity was the best as the groups really had to work together in order to make it." "The blind fold activity makes you realise how clear you have to be in communication. The raft building is a great exercise in problem solving, leadership and teamwork skills." "The program itself is great - you have great staff that support the activities. The meals and activities were planned really well and it allowed for people of all fitness levels to participate."
American Express's Thankyou - for an inter-active Sydney Amazing Race
"Thank you so much for your assistance in organising such a wonderful event for us. We all enjoyed the event - Amazing. Memorable, Unforgettable, Wonderful."
Select Appointments - Amazing Race in Sydney's CBD
"Thank you for the afternoon, everyone had a fantastic time and we were all in high spirits for the rest of the night. Coming from "a relatively new team, we wanted a team activity to bring us together and allow us to learn new things about each other in a relaxed atmosphere as well as have fun. As a fan of the TV show, the Sydney Amazing Race sounded like a fantastic opportunity and it was a favourite with the group."
"A fantastic day, the best team building day so far! It was great that we had to rely on each other as a team in order to achieve our goals on the day. Plus it is nice to get out into the city to do something different and something active, not just sitting at our computers all day."
We will certainly recommend Bushsports team building activities to anybody requiring such an event."
Evaluation by Macquarie Partners - Sydney Rocks Treasure Hunt
"We wanted a physical team building exercise that we thought would be fun.
We were very satisfied with the program and how Bushsports staff supervised the team development content."
"Many people said 'I could not have done it on my own' a convincing comment that showed it was possible to work through when we worked as a team."
"The program exercised and improved our team work skills and we had fun while doing so. The expectations for why we chose the program were met."
Government DHA reviews Bushsports 2 day Team Building Survivor program at Dooralong Valley Resort in the Lower Hunter Valley.
Why did your team select Bushsports Survivor program?
In the planning stage of this years team building we asked the Hunter Valley team what they wanted to get out of it. It was requested there be more outdoor activities compared to the previous team building exercised. MC heard from another DHA staff member about the Survivor program and we decided it would be the way to go. Mainly because the concepts behind the activities were based around trust, team work and cooperation which was the main aim of the team building experience.
Which part of the program was your teams favourite? What factors made this so?
- The whole lot; it was different, we were under pressure, the team did well
- Most of the activities - Development of team building skills
- Best yet - We didn't sit in a room for two days looking at a facilitator or going over things we had done in the past
- Raft building - better team work.
- Organised activities - it really made people interact. Even those who really did not want too. Seeing more than the one dimensional personalities you work with on a day to day basis - It makes for a more interesting work environment and improves communication between teams and staff members
- Raft building - Because everyone was involved and they all seemed to enjoy themselves
- Being outside and being able to utilise everyone's talents outside of the working environment - It showed different sides of people & their strengths/weaknesses
Did the program meet your desired outcomes?
- Very much so!
- This was the 3rd teambuilding I have attended and was definitely the best as I feel included actual "team building"
- Make sure all future team building is outdoors. This one was great!
- From the discussions and feed back since the event it has improved the general office moral and perspective with regard to future team building events. I believe it has also given everyone the opportunity to get to know staff members out side their immediate duties which can only improve office communication.
- The two days were great, it was fun, relaxing, different, good to see every one outside work, perform under pressure, and everyone got on so well.
COGNOS - Treasure Hunt ‘n White Water Team Building Package, Penrith.
Comments from the coordinator: "This was really well set up, and great for team building with SO much fun! The BBQ Lunch Also really well set up and delicious food. The Treasure Hunt instilled a competitive spirit and thus forced us to work together as a team. The white water rafting: Because is a fun way to throw a couple of teams together.
Did the program meet your desired outcomes? Treasure Hunt: Yes, it was a great way to get a group of people who don't usually see much of each other to start thinking as a group. We wanted to have fun together and we did.
The BBQ Lunch: This made lunch so easy, and the food was great. It was also a good midpoint in the day to download the morning's activities.

CITIGROUP - Bushsports Survivor Team Building day, 80 delegates.
Lane Cove National Park Sydney.
"I just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you for our staff day. Everyone enjoyed the day.
I have attached a few comments which you may appreciate". Kind regards, Pauline Soon
Citigroup Staff Comments of the day:
1. Fun, interesting!!!!. 2. Helped to know each other very well
3. Created awareness of the importance of team work
4. It was a good chance to meet other people on the floor and break down some barriers.
We are keen for more team activities.
5. It was fun, and we should have more of this team bonding activities in the future.
It provides us a good opportunity to know the people in this floor and the people from overseas that we deal with.
6. This activity shows the importance of the value of a team, nothing will work if
one person is too dominating in the team.
7. Being a new entrant to Citibank's RPC, I went with the hope and expectations that I get to meet other people working on the same floor. Of course the "survivor" drills that we went through proved to extract the teamwork
spirit out of everyone; that, of course, was coupled with a lot of fun. Overall, thumbs up for that event, and it is great to know, and feel, that I am working in this fantastic environment
8. Though I interact to most of the people here, I was able to see how there they are outside work. And it's fun getting to know them well.
9. Good fun. nice to see colleagues outside work environment. being put randomly
into groups, we were given the opportunity to work together as a team and get
to know each other better, which probably would not happen in normal office
environment. the activities were all fun as well.
10. It was actually good fun and experience, good chance where staffs from diff team/
role can get together to have some fun. the activities have offered participants
the importance of team playing and team efforts and put strategies in problem
solving. it's also a good way to get to know our overseas colleagues in a less
formal atmosphere. i really enjoyed it and think we should have some sort of
activities (get together) each year within the RPC.

Teambuilding Challenge Events, Manly Quarantine Station, ".....we had a fantastic afternoon. The events dominated the evening conversation for many hours. The whole afternoon was extremely well run and very professional and we learnt a few things about ourselves along the way. Mostly though, people had a great deal of fun.
One of the project managers mentioned to me later that had we finished the conference a day early it would still have been a success as our major objective of team building was well and truly achieved. People were no longer restricted to socialising with their regular teammates, but were mingling with everyone in the department. A great outcome!"

"It was always going to be hard to make sure that everyone enjoyed the day and I think the mix of getting out of Sydney and doing something that didn't require strength, too much thought (well, for some!) and working with people that they didn't know all helped. Funnily enough, word got around within The Commonwealth Bank requesting your details". - James Done, CBA Manager. |
