BEACH Team Activities

Beach names: Create beach themed names, with everyone receiving their colour coordinated bandanas.
Beach Chants: Develop Team Chant or Cheers as the beach activities commence.
Flag Races : Dive for the marker planted in the sand.
Sand Sculpting – Teams Create a Sculpture to be assessed and scored.
Jaws Relax Race - Teams are timed as they race against each other. Run, jump or hop with inflated sharks between legs, they must pass the sharks to their team-mate without touching.
Beach Hula-Hoop Aloha - Quoits Hula throw and then: Best of the best hula hooper's challenge rival teams in a timed hula contest. Great background music adds to the fun and excitement of this event!
Life Raft Relays – teams build and man their life rafts in an effort to move their team from the beach to safety.
Crocodile Shuffle - Teams line up as they pass large inflatable sea creatures over their heads and back between their legs. As music begins they work as a unit and slalom through a wild and wacky fun course.
Flipped out beach relay - Wearing flippers and a snorkel mask, relay your team across the sands.
Raft Build- Design and build your castaway raft to escape the island with left over debris beach combed.
Beach Volleyball - Modified volleyball on the beach 1, 2, 3 or 4 teams keeping the fun action flowing (hosted by Kerri Pottharst Olympic Beach Volleyball Champion).
Beach Commando - Strike up your best cammo gear and take to a military assault on the beaches, clearing a mine field and building sand castles.
Beach Obstacle course - Bushsports creates the course on the beach, participants make their way through the obstacles retrieving markers.
Beach Comber Puzzle- Complete puzzle pieces to re-create a team puzzle.
Beach Treasure Hunt - Search for a real treasure chest using compass orienteering bearings and clues i.e. Pirates of the Caribbean style!
Beach Scavenger Hunts - Crashing waves have scattered many debris and artifacts along the beach, collect as many as possible and build a raft, shelter or signal a rescue.
Beach Soccer Games - fun corporate beach soccer games
Beach Cricket Games - Modified fun inter-active Australian Beach Cricket.
Beach Survivor Challenges- Complete a fun Survivor team Building program on an Australian beach.

As the competition and events wind down the day’s scores are tallied, each team performs their 'Team Chant' in front of the crowd (for extra Bonus Points and tons of laughs).

The Head Surf Life Saver, rescues teams to the safety of the bar, to announce winning teams with an awards presentation

Making sand sculptures is fun and a great fun learning experience!

It’s even better when a professional teaches the "tricks of the trade" to your group.
The objective of our creative sand sculpture team training is to promote teamwork.
This occurs via creating a group sand sculpture, as your teams will quickly learn when they tackle their own sand sculpting assignments. During this process the team members will learn to make the most productive use of each person’s capabilities and qualities. Each team will also see the value of the other teams’ efforts as an entire sculpture gallery made of sand is realised under their hands.
The joint creation of an entire sculpture gallery is a visceral experience, one they will remember and share together later.

Teamwork, creativity and fun are the ingredients for this fascinating activity.
Each team member stimulates the other and this synergy creates a very pleasing, and often surprising, collective result. By the end of the training they have created a work that all are proud of.
The net result to the client is individual integral comprehension of the necessity of working together.
This fosters mutual appreciation between not only the team members, but also between the teams themselves, as they recognize the contribution each team has made to the project as a whole.

The primary target is to initiate, develop and execute new methods of corporate training schemes.
Sand sculpting is being used as a unique medium to clarify business processes and individual behaviour within business processes.
Approximately 45 companies are using the Sand Academy each year for corporate training schemes.
