Bushsports Blue Mountains Abseils

A thrilling day of fun abseiling (not absailing) in the lower or upper Blue Mountains, 1-1.5hr from Sydney. Spectacular descents over cliff escarpments of sandstone. The Blue Mountains World Heritage Area and National Park provides a splendid backdrop for the abseils. Highlight of the day is up to a 60m abseil with 35m (110ft) off the wall free descent! No previous experience required.

Decide to complete as many abseils as you can handle. Increasingly adventurous levels of abseils available. From easy beginners to the overhanging thrills of the Katoomba Multi-Pitch.

The MINI JUMP! 1/2 day
Every day 9.30am-12.30pm
An ideal half day abseiling adventure for beginners or those short of time, great introduction to 'Learn the Ropes' enjoy the thrill by starting on an easy 5m and progressing to 30m. Cost: $95pp

The SUPER JUMP! Full day
Every day 9.30am - 4.30pm
20 storeys of superb overhanging cliff will provide adrenaline and excitement for both the beginner and serious thrill seeker. A thorough morning preparation session will have your techniques refined, enjoy a nutritious lunch then hang on for the 60m plunge into the valley highlight, with bushwalk back to the top through a marvellous rainforest.

Katoomba Multi-Pitch Full day
A cascade of abseils near the Three Sisters.
This is one of the best Blue Mountains sustained abseil adventures. A series of cliff walls near Katoomba in the Blue Mountains overlooking the Three Sisters provide an exciting 240m series of 5 abseils pitches between 30m and 55m finishing on the Federal Pass Track. Providing the stunning route up to the top of the cliffs where we take in the stunning views and a refreshing ale.

Provided: • All equipment & padded harness • Expert instruction • Refresher abseil course to get you going • Morning Tea & Picnic Lunch.
You need: • Comfortable clothing for cool conditions • Avoid: loose clothing & jewellery, hair tied back. • Rainjacket • 1.5L Fluids • Grippy rubber soled shoes or boots.
